The City of Duluth geographic information system (GIS) division is staffed by a GIS Specialist who maintains a wide variety of geographic data related to parcels, zoning, infrastructure, and environmental features. This allows the City to produce analytical maps, visualize and analyze patterns and trends, and to plan for future infrastructure and development. GIS helps us ask complex questions and create comprehensive solutions. The following maps and applications highlight the ways the City utilizes GIS to aid in smart growth, sustainability, planning, and development.
