Friday, October 22, 2021 was the last day to apply for an absentee ballot by mail for the City of Duluth municipal election.
The next general municipal election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 2, 2021 to elect Council Posts 1, 2 and 3.
On August 3, the City of Duluth approved an ordinance calling for a special-called municipal election for Council Post 4, to be held in conjunction with the general election on November 2.

- City (municipal) non-partisan elections are scheduled and conducted in accordance with Georgia State law and Article V of the Duluth City Charter and are generally held in odd years.
- All voting to elect the Mayor and City Council members takes place at Duluth City Hall regardless of polling places for the county, state or federal elections. Only residents of the incorporated City of Duluth are eligible to vote for Mayor and Council. Click on City map to determine if you live inside the city limits and are eligible to vote in the municipal election. A street listing is also available on the link.
Absentee Voting in person (Early Voting)
"Early voting" will be provided as per state law. Voting will take place at Duluth City Hall from 9:00am to 5:00pm daily, from Tuesday October 12 through Friday October 29, excluding Sundays.
Votacion en Ausencia en persona (Votación anticipada)
Se proporcionará "votación anticipada" según la ley estatal. La votación se llevará a cabo en el Ayuntamiento de Duluth de 9:00 am a 5:00 pm todos los días, desde el martes 12 de Octubre hasta el viernes 29 de Octubre, excepto los domingos.
