Duluth, Georgia helps Sister City by “Giving Hands”

Duluth, Georgia (July 9, 2012) – Recent floods have left the historic area of Duluth, Minnesota in shambles. Over 12 feet of water washed through the historic area in June. Volunteers are helping to restore the area and hopefully move many homeowners back into their homes. To show our support and concern for our sister city, the citizens of Duluth are donating work gloves for volunteer workers. If you would like to donate adult size work gloves to help the Duluth, Minnesota citizens with their cleanup project, please bring new adult size work gloves to City Hall by Friday, July 20th. Howard Brothers Hardware and Big Lots in Duluth have already stepped up and are working with us on this project. Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
