6th Annual State of the City

The Honorable Mayor Nancy Harris and the Duluth Civitan Club hosted the 6th Annual Duluth “State of the City” Address on Tuesday, January 26th at the Duluth First United Methodist Church. Mayor Harris spoke about the 6 forces that we have to be aware of and make informed decisions about in order to be a healthy city and what Duluth is doing in each area. Those forces are: demographics, economics, nature, technology, politics and culture. As an organizer of this event, the Duluth Civitan Club joins with the City to raise funds for local charities. The generous support of this event will provide financial aid to several charitable causes in the Duluth community throughout the year, including Annandale Village, Creative Enterprises, Driving Magic and Rainbow Village.
