WHEN: You will be scheduled for class after receiving your temporary handling permit. Classes are held monthly, on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00pm - 3:00pm. Please arrive by 1:45pm latest to ensure time for registration. Prior to attending class, please check the website for any class cancellations or changes. WHERE: Community room of Duluth City Hall, located at 3167 Main Street, Duluth, GA. The Community room is on the basement level, accessible from the Hill Street entrance.
HOW: The City Clerk Business Office located on the Main level of Duluth City Hall will schedule your alcohol training class at the time you register for your temporary alcohol handling permit. Please arrive to the class a minimum of 15 minutes prior to start time to guarantee your reserved spot. In order to complete the training in the time allotted and be respectful of all class participants, the doors will close promptly at the beginning of class.
FEE: $20 per person. Pay by cash, credit card, or money order (made payable to City of Duluth).
PERMITS: Upon completion of the class and a passing grade on the exam, class attendees are eligible to receive their permanent handling permits, which are valid for either one or two years (depending on type of establishment).
