*Notice to Residents* (April 9, 2012):
Over the next several weeks you may see a crew or two out coring holes and inspecting our city pavements. They may be seen driving a little slower than usual and tagging your mail box with a piece of colored surveyors tape. Please do not be alarmed as we are embarking on a comprehensive pavement management program in an effort to maximize our precious road budget dollars to better serve you. Each one of our roads will be scientifically rated on a scale of 0 to 100 in order that the rehabilitation work may be categorized and ranked based on priority with help from the decision aiding capabilities of our new software program (MTC StreetSaver). The StreetSaver software is used in many cities across America much like ours. Please be patient with the crews if you should see them driving around the city with their flashing orange lights and survey crew ahead signs, as they are here to stretch our city budget and provide us with better roads for less money.
