If your citation is a MUST appear, you must be present during court. You will NOT be able to pay your citation on-line. If your case does not mandate a court appearance, then your fines may be paid before your scheduled court date. Citations may be paid online, in person, or at our 24 hour drop box, which is located in the parking lot, on the Davenport Road side of the Duluth Public Safety Building. To access your citation information on-line, if you have a ten digit citation number, you must omit one of the zeroes when entering the citation number. For example, if your ten digit citation number includes six zeroes, you can only enter five zeroes. If you wish to pay in person, payments are accepted Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Payments can also be mailed to:

I cannot make my scheduled court appearance. What are my options? Can I get a continuance?
If you need a Continuance of your court date, it must be submitted, in writing, to the Court and be approved by a Judge. You can submit via e-mail to continuance@duluthga.net. Your request must be received (5) business days prior to your court date. The request must contain your name, citation number(s), e-mail address, physical mailing address, a telephone number and the reason for the continuance. You are to assume that your request has not been approved, and you are still expected you appear in court on your original assigned court date until you receive a phone call or an email from the court staff advising the Judge has approved or denied your request. At that time, you will be expected to do the following: If you are APPROVED for a continuance, you or someone on your behalf will be required to come to our business office to sign for your new court date within the next 4-5 business days after being notified by court staff. For the Application, click here. You will be notified within 72 business hours of receipt of your continuance request, if it has been Approved or Denied. If you are unable to do any of the above before the time specified, you can come to the court’s window and pay your citation, post it as a cash bond and have a new court date issued.
