“My vision for serving on city council is to provide positive leadership and take an active role in the decision-making processes that enable our citizens to enjoy their community to its fullest and take pride in calling Duluth their hometown. Since being elected to City Council, I have been involved with and support our ongoing downtown development and revitalization, our green space initiatives, and our parks and recreation programs. This includes bringing Taylor Park, the town green, the Festival Center, the ‘Red Fowler’ public works facility, and the new Public Safety Building to reality. The revitalization of the downtown area is giving us a new community gathering place, while the public works and public safety facilities provide a safe workable environment for our city employees. Representing the city of Duluth is a privilege and an honor, and I enjoy serving in such a vibrant, safe, and close-knit community.”
