CHARTER CHANGE (CAPITAL RESERVE)
Per Council directive on May 19th, the City Attorney has drafted an ordinance to amend the City Charter as to the utilization of the Capital Reserve Funds. This amendment to the City’s Charter requires two readings of the ordinance. If it is the desire of Council to amend the Charter, the City Clerk will place notice and place on the July 12th and August 9th Council agenda for consideration.
CONSIDERATION OF TAX MILLAGE INCREASE
Per Council directive on May 19th, a report to be issued to Council once the consolidation reports are received from Gwinnett County. The City Administrator will report on the tax digest and the net effect of the reduction in assessments on budgeted property tax revenue.
