The public is hereby notified that there will be a special called meeting of the Mayor and Council on Thursday, July 29, 2010 in the Council Chambers of City Hall at 5:30 pm to consider and vote on a service delivery strategy resolution, to include lists of services that will be: 1. Provided by the city and 2. Jointly-funded and provided with Gwinnett County. In addition, Council will adjourn to an executive session to discuss Personnel, Real Estate, Pending/Potential Litigation.

The quarterly meeting of the Finance Committee will be held on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at 5:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of Duluth City Hall, located at 3167 Main Street. The following agenda items will be discussed:

The 4th Monday regularly scheduled work session of the Mayor and Council will be held on Monday, June 28, 2010 in the Main Street conference room of City Hall at 5:30 pm to discuss Storm Water utilities and the Buford Highway Corridor Study update. Notice is hereby given that a special called meeting of the Mayor and Council will also be held at 7:00 pm in the Council chambers to consider the following items:

Notice is hereby given that a Special Called Meeting of the Mayor and Council is duly called for the purpose of conducting a public hearing to gather comments on the FY11 Budget. The summary budget may be inspected during regular office hours (8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) in the office of the City Clerk located on the second floor of the Duluth City Hall, 3167 Main Street. Members of the public are invited to attend the public hearing and have the right to present oral and/or written comments pertaining to the proposed budget.

The Council will also hear a final status report on the Buford Highway Corridor Study.

A Special Called Meeting of the Mayor and Council for the City of Duluth will be held on Monday, March 29th 2010 at 5:30 p.m. for the purpose to consider authorizing A. J. (Buddy) Welch, and Andrew J. (Andy) Welch, as legal counsel representing the cities, to sign the Stipulation and Agreement on behalf of the cities and remove the identified issues from further action in the Service Delivery Strategy (SDS) litigation process and for the purpose to adjourn to Executive Session to discuss pending/potential litigation, personnel and real estate.
