New Changes to Big MAC
The Mayor’s Advisory Council, also known as Big MAC, has been redesigned and a
new call is being issued to interested citizens. Since Big MAC began in 2008, over 100
citizens have been involved. Although the results have been positive and many new
people have become engaged in Duluth, new changes keep us committed.
The redesigned Big MAC will have a new format of discussing specific topics through
focus groups. This will allow the Mayor to collect citizen input and share information with the
City Council on current topics. Surveying for local feedback on focused topics will keep
each meeting to only one hour and hopefully not require much of your time.
Meeting dates will be announced at least ten days in advance and will be from Noon -
1:00 at the Duluth City Hall. Each meeting will include only one or two topics and your
feedback will be collected verbally during the meeting. By completing an application,
you are agreeing to be on an email distribution list that will notify you of the meeting
dates.
