My vision for serving on the city council is to provide positive leadership and to continue to take an active role in the decision-making processes that enable our citizens to enjoy their community to its fullest and take pride in calling Duluth their hometown. Since being elected to City Council, I have been involved with and support our ongoing downtown development and revitalization, our green space initiatives, and our parks and recreation programs. This includes bringing Taylor Park, Town Green, Festival Center, the “Red Fowler” Public works facility, Public Safety/Courts Building, Chattapoochee Dog Park and the City’s River Launch to reality.”
I want to continue to bring economic development to Duluth by attracting new businesses, building city/business partnerships, promote local arts as a major attraction, and continue to enhance our infrastructures (roads, storm water management program, parks, and recreation)
I have served the citizens of Duluth for 14 years and know what it takes to be a dependable and strong leader. A council member’s involvement requires more than just attending meetings. Being involved in the community puts me in contact with you, your families, and our businesses. I am passionate about our City and want to continue working for you to ensure that the City of Duluth is a better place every day.
“Representing the City of Duluth is a privilege and an honor. I enjoy serving in such a vibrant, safe, and close-knit community.”
